After long thought, I have an idea why this vacation cottage does not have more reviews. It is because the guests want to keep it a secret in fear of not being able to find free dates to book this wonderful place.
We spent our initial visit over Christmas 2022 and were amazed. The attention to detail and efforts to welcome us warmed my heart and amazed me. A little decorated Christmas tree was in the living room and the place inside and outside festive decorated. We were also given a bottle of their wine and homemade grape jelly, which we savored for as long as we could.
The rustic cottage is warm, with wood provided for the heater, which we used at all times when it was cold. The rustic charm immediately made us feel comfortable, the full kitchen behind a bar was great to have and allowed me to have the extended family over for dinner. So, the cottage is large enough to host, with plenty of room to sit.
The bedrooms are upstairs and I can honestly say that I slept better than in the past 5 years. The cottage is minutes walk from hiking trails and only a 2-3 minute drive into the center of town for necessities and only a 2-3 minute drive to the Hungarian border which can be crossed.
I have nothing negative to mention about this little slice of heaven and since enjoyed another stay and made future reservations as well. It is a place where I could spend my days in peace and prefer over five star hotels.

Weingut Marlovits was one of the most magical places I’ve ever been to. My girlfriend and I stayed here and can’t wait to go back. The place was extremely clean, the beds were comfortable, the views were outstanding. I highly recommend
